Creation interprets Divinity and Divinity inspires, informs, and illuminates Creation. At ONE THIRTY NINE I will take contemporary movies, shows, and music and put them in dialogue with the Bible’s Wisdom Literature. These contemporary creations can help us see the Wisdom Literature in all new ways, just as Proverbs, Psalms, Job, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon can provide a new lens for our contemporary art. By engaging and establishing this dialogue, we can answer a few of life’s questions and perhaps, find a path to the good life.
